Senior management, product leaders, and members of the Sustainability Committee provided updates on the company’s three strategic pillars: Simplify Hiring, Help Businesses Work Smarter, and Prosper Together.

  • Yoshihiro "Yoshi" Kitamura

    Executive Vice President and Head of Matching & Solutions, Recruit Holdings Co., Ltd.
    President and Representative Director, Recruit Co., Ltd.

    After joining Recruit in 1997, he held various positions and roles at "Zexy" and "Hot Pepper Beauty", before being appointed as Executive Vice President of Recruit Holdings in 2015 and President and Representative Director of Recruit in 2018.

  • Ken Asano

    Director of Recruit Co., Ltd.
    Executive Vice President of Product Management, Recruit Co., Ltd.

    He joined Recruit in 1992 and worked in sales and product planning in HR Solutions and Housing & Real Estate, and also served as the head of growth for the Internet Business department. In April 2015, he was appointed as Executive Officer of Recruit Holdings and President and Representative Director of Recruit Lifestyle. Since 2022, he has held the role of Executive Vice President of Product Management, Recruit and in 2023, he was also appointed as Director of Recruit.

  • Jun Akiyama

    Senior Vice President
    Product Management of Marketing Solutions and System Development, Recruit Co., Ltd.

    He joined Recruit in 2002 and has played a major role in software development for "Jalan.net". He became a producer of "Jalan.net", group manager of the Client Web Group, where he was involved in the launch of "SALON BOARD", and product manager of SUUMO. He was appointed as Senior Vice President, Product Management of Marketing Solutions and System Development, Recruit in April 2020.

  • Keiichi Ushida

    He started his career with a large fishery company, before joining Recruit in 2007. At Recruit he was in charge of "Jalan.net", "Hot Pepper Gourmet", and "Hot Pepper Beauty" and was involved in the launch of "Pompare". He was appointed as Senior Vice President, Product Management of SaaS, Recruit in April 2020.

  • Mio Kashiwamura

    Senior Vice President
    HR, Public Relations, and Sustainability, Recruit Co., Ltd.

    She joined Recruit in 1998 and was in charge of commercializing Recruit's first overseas business, Zexy Shanghai. After serving as the executive officer overseeing the Beauty business, she was appointed as Senior Vice President of Recruit Holdings in 2015. Since April 2020, she has held the position of Senior Vice President of Public Relations, Recruit Holdings and since April 2021, she was appointed as Senior Vice President of HR Affairs, Public Relations, and Sustainability at Recruit.

Ayano "Sena" Senaha, Director, Executive Vice President and COO in charge of the third pillar of our business strategy "ProsperTogether", had a Fireside Chat with our external members of the Sustainability Committee.
They talked about what wasdiscussed at the committee to evolve our sustainability strategy and strengthen the governance, and what challenges lie ahead, as well as received questions from the audience.

    External member of sustainability committee, Recruit Holdings
    President and CEO, BSR

    As President and CEO, Aron Cramer leads BSR, a non-profit established to promote sustainability in the global business community. Aron advises senior executives at BSR’s 300+ member companies and other global businesses and partners on the full spectrum of environmental, social, and governance issues.

  • Keiko Honda

    Independent Director and external member of sustainability committee
    Recruit Holdings

    Keiko Honda is highly experienced in management, finance, and ESG Investing. She teaches ESG Investing course as an Adjunct Professor at Columbia University from 2020. Prior to that, Keiko served as CEO and Vice President of the World Bank’s Multilateral Investment Guarantee Agency as well as a Senior Partner at McKinsey & Company.

  • Yves Serra

    External member of sustainability committee, Recruit Holdings
    Chairman of the Board, Georg Fischer

    Yves Serra was a President and CEO (2008-2019) and now a Chariman of the Board (2020-) of Georg Fischer (headquartered in Switzerland), which was ranked nineth in Wall Street Journal's "Most Sustainable Companies 2020" worldwide. He promoted sustainability as a management strategy and drove the company's growth.

  • Ayano "Sena" Senaha

    Director, Executive Vice President and COO

    Ayano "Sena" Senaha is Director, Executive Vice President and COO in charge of Recruit Group's sustainability transformation since 2021. She has played a major role in the rapid globalization of the Company. She became Chief of Staff at Indeed, Senior Vice President in 2018, and Director in 2020.
